About the attorney
Beth Ramsey Faulkner is a longtime resident of western York County. Beth grew up in Sharon, South Carolina, with her mom, dad, sister, and brother. She graduated as Salutatorian from York Comprehensive High School in 2001. Afterwards, she attended Clemson University, and in 2005, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in Environmental Engineering. She then continued her education and obtained a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law, graduating in May 2008. She was sworn in to the South Carolina Bar on November 17, 2008.
After graduating from law school, Beth served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Lee S. Alford, resident circuit judge for the sixteenth judicial circuit, now retired. She has since been in private practice, representing clients primarily in the areas of family law, real estate law, and probate. Beth has previously served as Municipal Judge for the City of York, and she currently serves her community as an elected member of the York School District One Board of Trustees.
Beth is married, and she and her husband, Alan, have two precious children. They are both active members of Smyrna ARP Church in Smyrna, South Carolina. In her free time, Beth enjoys spending time with her family and all things outdoors, including riding and working with horses and spending time on the Broad and Pacolet Rivers.
